The conservation and rehabilitation of historic buildings is an extremely important task, not only to ensure the sustainability of the built heritage, but also to preserve the identity, historical memory and cultural diversity of our society. This theme will address the key challenges we face in the rehabilitation of cultural heritage - from technical and material approaches to legal and financial aspects. We will present examples of good practice and open a debate on innovative methods and modern approaches that allow the successful adaptation of buildings to modern needs while respecting their historical value.
