1st Olga Zupan Symposium
ZVKDS, OE Kranj ZVKDS and its co-organisers organised an expert symposium in the former Uršulin monastery in Mekinja near Kamnik.
The series of expert symposia to be organised by the ZVKDS, OE Kranj in the coming years is dedicated to our long-time director of the then Kranj Institute for Monument Protection, art historian Olga Zupan, who headed the Institute between 1964 and 1996. She belonged to the generation of Stelet's disciples who established the foundations for the functioning of regional institutions for the protection of cultural heritage, the selection and training of appropriate staff, and the building of the foundations for sound conservation legislation in this field.
